What Happens when You Cast a Spell

Here is one interpretation of the metaphysics of magic, framed in the context of what is going on when you cast a spell.

With your clear desire in front of you, either visualized or focused through an image or symbol, you muster all of your will.

You then thrust your will into and through your desire as if your life depends upon it and with the understanding that God and Nature will endorse your project forthwith.

You speak the special words that empower your will, connect your soul through that will to the proper magical forces which are then unleashed unto your bidding.

Furthermore, you gather and align specific energies based on the kind of magic you are performing. These energies are directed through your words by your personal power (your will and your personal energy matrix, including the chakras, aura, energy bodies, et al) to the task at hand.

Your unconscious mind coordinates with the involved magical forces to complete the work you have initiated. Much of this portion of the work takes place after you have completed the spell and turned your conscious mind back to the mundane matters of your life.
