Often called the Viking Compass, this Norse symbol is said to help one “find the way” or “find their way”. Regardless of whether or not historical use of the symbol involves occult connotations, in the present day the Vegvisir is used by magicians and mystics as an esoteric device for navigating the spiritual path, in addition to physical navigational applications.
