“Grimoires”, or grammars were technically the spell compendiums and magical notebooks of medieval Europe, but the term is commonly used today to refer to any curated assortment of magical axioms, operations, and notations in book form.

“Scroll” is simply a reference to historical fragments or truncated magical texts or magical works presented as a series of scrolls or papyri, etc.
