The Ultimate Guide to Protection in Magic: Shielding Yourself and Your Environment

Magic is an ancient practice that has been around for centuries. It involves using the power of the universe to manifest your desires and achieve your goals. However, with great power comes great responsibility. As a practitioner of magic, it is crucial to understand the concept of protection in magic. The world of magic is full of energy, and it is essential to learn how to protect yourself and your environment from potentially dangerous or harmful energy. In this ultimate guide to protection in magic, you’ll learn everything you need to know about shielding yourself and your environment.

Understanding the Concept of Protective Magic

Protective magic is a practice that involves using spells, rituals, and other techniques to protect yourself and your environment from dangerous or undesirable frequencies, which many call “negative energy”. It is important to point out that negative simply means without x, or perhaps can mean the opposite of x, neither of which is inherently bad without more context. In magical lore or Magic Theory, we are taught that every individual has an energy field surrounding them, also known as the aura. This energy field is susceptible to negative energy, as in polarized in opposition to your setpoint, and may indeed be vulnerable to many unwanted entities from other planes who are attracted to humans by magical energy. Your personal energy matrix can be influenced by the energy around it. Protective magic helps to shield and protect the aura from not only negative energy, ensuring that you remain safe and protected but also from neutral and positive frequencies which could accumulate in excess and cause various problems.

Different Types of Protective Magic

There are different types of protective magic, each with its unique method and purpose. These include:

Warding is a technique that involves placing protective symbols or objects around your home or environment to ward off bad energy. These symbols can be anything from crystals to protective talismans, and they work by creating a barrier that prevents detrimental energy from entering your space.

Binding is a technique that involves binding unwanted negative energy to prevent it from harmfully affecting you or your environment. This practice involves using a binding spell to tie the bad energy to an object or person, preventing it from causing harm.

Banishing is a technique that involves removing psychic debris and frequencies of an undesirable nature from your environment. This technique is often used to remove harmful energy that has already entered your space. It involves using spells, rituals, or other techniques to rid your environment of unwanted currents of energy and/or spirits/entities that are uninvited and also unwanted.

Importance of Protection Wards

Protection wards are an essential tool in protective magic. They act as a barrier between your environment and invasive energy, preventing it from entering your space. A protection ward can be anything from a talisman to a sigil or even a crystal. The purpose of a protection ward is to create a shield that prevents any energy you wish to avoid from entering your space.

How to Create a Protection Ward

Creating a protection ward is a simple process that involves choosing the right object and imbuing it with protective energy. To create a protection ward, follow these steps:

  1. Choose your object: Choose an object that resonates with you and has protective properties. This could be a crystal, a talisman, a rune symbol, a sigil you create, the sigil of a helpful spirit, or even a piece of jewelry.
  2. Cleanse your object: Before imbuing your object with protective energy, it is essential to cleanse it of any negative energy it may have picked up.
  3. Charge your object: Charge your object with protective energy by holding it in your hands and visualizing a protective shield around it. You can also use incantations or spells to imbue the object with protective energy.
  4. Place your object: Once your object has been charged with protective energy, place it in your environment. This could be in your home, office, or any other space that requires protection.

Sealing and Shielding the Aura

Your aura is susceptible to negative energy and can be influenced by the energy around it. Sealing and shielding your aura is an essential part of protective magic, as it helps to protect your energy field from undesirable energy. There are several techniques you can use to seal and shield your aura, including:

Visualization is a technique that involves imagining or seeing a protective shield around your aura. You can do this by mentally projecting a bubble of white light surrounding your body, protecting you from harm, ill will, or evil spirits.

What are the actual process for the warding, binding, banishing and drawing the pentagram incantations etc.

    • Too numerous for Bean Sprout or anybody to list in one post but I will try to place some of it on this blog as time goes by. I consider this blog a lifelong project, a place I will post as often as I can but through the course of my days here. As such it will at times be incomplete and more like a public journal than an A to B tutorial. I’m going to email you a PDF that may help.

Thank you very much for the help and time you have for your students, am grateful.
May I know if during the burning of the herbs one has to say some sort of incantations.
    Thank you.

    • You could choose to just burn the herbs, or you could add an incantation. You could even add a wand to the work, making banishing forms like the equal-armed cross. Stroke vertical bar top-to-bottom, then horizontal barf left-to-right and say PURIFICO! EXITIUM! These commands would cleanse energy or if it can’t be cleaned up it would be discharged from the area you are targeting.

What I emphasize with this response is that you’ll find different techniques and methods on this blog and you can choose various ways to apply them. It’s not so much about what you have to do or what is right or wrong but more about learning some basic underpinning of how things work magically and putting your operations together from there.

In the near future I hope to spend more time on this blog to alleviate reader questions proactively. Right now life has other plans for me it seems but I am working in that direction.
