Here are the two numerology charts most commonly employed in contemporary magic.
First the Pythagorean, utilized by most Wiccans and generally the popular choice among New Age and metaphysical thinkers.
Pythagorean numerology is pretty straightforward, in that it runs a straight sequence of 1 through 9, beginning with A and restarting on every 10th letter.
Then the Chaldean numerology chart, used by the oddball ritual magician, the author Linda Goodman. and approximately 27 other individuals in North America. You’ll notice 9 is missing from the Chaldean chart; it is not given to any letter, but must be arrived at by the combination of other letters/numbers.
Which Numerology Chart Should I Use?
Ugh.. Seriously?
God dammit why are you always hitting me up with those hard questions? I’m trying to make a little blog with maybe some useful content and every time I turn around it’s another question someone’s destiny might hang on. I can’t do it, not this time!
You’re going to have to be a big boy or girl (That’s right I only gave you two options there. Deal with it!) and decide for yourself which system is right for you. Listen to your intuition, or work out the numerology on a few things and consult a reliable source for the meanings of those numbers and then make your choice.
I use both systems for various purposes. Maybe I will add a list of the numbers 1 through 9 at some point along with meanings/interpretations but for now I think that is best left to the numerologists and not a simple conjurer such as myself.
